One of only two surviving buildings of the original Palace of Westminster, The Jewel Tower was built around 1365 to house Edward III’s personal treasure and wardrobe. Today it is home to the ’Parliament: Past and Present’ exhibition detailing a fascinating account of the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
