This fine old house stands close to the centre of the vibrant 'Borough' area of London just south of the River Thames. John Keats is without a doubt one of the best known names in English literature. He loved living at the heart of this London community and although he also lived in the more tranquil surroundings of Hampstead in his later life, certainly drew a great deal of influence in his art from this place close to the river.
