John Watkins Plaza is technically a part of the University of London's constituent college, the London School of Economics, or the LSE as it is often known. The plaza is made up of a large square in the style of an Italian city centre. There are several nearby cafes and the plaza attracts an eclectic mixture of students on breaks, tourists and local workers who often sit down, relax and watch the world go by.
