The ‘Oracle’ sculpture is abstract in design, and is made of bronze. The pair of shapes that make up the sculpture have varying rough and smooth surfaces. The piece was designed by Alexander and was completed in 1980. The inscription on the sculpture is a quote by the artist, and begins ‘Mankind is capable of an awareness that is outside the range of everyday life…’. The Jubilee Oracle is located just outside of the Jubilee Gardens, near the London Eye.
