This Regency house was the home of poet John Keats from 1818-1820, the period in his life during which he wrote some of his most famous works. The house and garden (where Keats wrote “Ode to a Nightingale”) are open to the public, and there is a collection of his books, manuscripts, letters, and artwork. There are also regular literary talks and poetry readings held here.
