Kelmscott House was home to William Morris from 1878 to 1896. The basement of the building is the headquarters of the William Morris Society. William Morris was a profound thinker and artist, who created some of the most influential written and visual works of the late 19th and early 20th Century. This museum holds many examples of his original writings as well as a number of personal artefacts of the man.
