Lavender Pond Pumphouse is an interesting piece of architectural history that sits beside the River Thames. It is open to the public throughout the week and has a small museum attached. The entire area is extremely rich in industrial history as Rotherhithe was once one of the important stopping points for boats and sailors when they were engaged in activities at the nearby London Docks.
