Lewisham Library is one of the centres of community affairs in the south east London borough. The publicly provided library carries a large range of fiction and non-fiction texts, audio material and video which are available for loan. There is also an extensive reference section and local history collection within the modern facility which doubles up as an exhibition space and seminar facility from time to time.
