Lewisham War Memorial is prominently placed on the main thoroughfare through the suburb close to the hospital. The simple yet beautifully crafted monument stands as a lasting reminder of the great debt that the people of Lewisham owe to those men and women who made such great sacrifices during the wars of the 20th Century.
