This is the oldest golf club in Wimbledon and is set amongst stunning scenery at the heart of Wimbledon Common. The club was originally started as a society to entertain the members of the London Scottish Rifle Volunteers in 1864. Since then the club has grown to be one of the most popular courses in south London, due to its central location and wonderfully designed course that follows the natural undulations of the surrounding land. The club has a small and quaint clubhouse close to the windmill on the common and is always open to new guests and visitors.
