This expanse of green space is largely flat grassland, with the exception of a large boulder in the centre and tall trees surrounding its border. The boulder in the middle of the park distinguishes it from others in Hackney, and is popular with climbing enthusiasts. The park is especially good for flying kites because it provides such a large open space. While there are not a lot of other facilities available here, it is located within walking distance of Hackney Marshes and its amenities.
