The centrepiece of this square and cultured gardens is a statue commemorating those men lost in the Great War from the borough of Kingston. Situated at the heart of medieval Kingston, the square is a popular place for people to rest their weary legs after a long day’s work, shopping or sightseeing. The square is usefully surrounded by some of the town’s other attractions and affords lovely views of the busy streets and ancient buildings in the borough.
