Memorial to Arthur Phillip
Watling Street, London EC4 - England, UK

Map
Admiral Arthur Phillip was a celebrated British naval officer and a colonial administrator. Phillip is probably most famous for his role as the first European administrator to be sent to Australia after its colonisation. He was made governor of the area of New South Wales and is reputed to have been the man to found the great city of Sydney. He is commemorated here at the heart of London with this fine bronze bust.
