This is one of the largest memorials to a single individual to be found on the Victoria Embankment. It marks the life and times of a great statesman and military man Lord Cheylesmore who had close links with the area around Coventry. His military and political prowess impressed his contemporaries quickly earning him respect both in parliament and in the seats of power that controlled some of Britain's most complex war efforts.
