Millbank Gardens are a quite elaborate affair of concrete tiers set against the magnificent back drop of the River Thames. Influenced by the nearby Tate Gallery, the gardens have a feel of exaggerated purpose and have a good sense of humour in their design. They are a place of rest and relaxation for the local people and many tourists who pass by.
