This ultra-modern bandstand and auditorium slopes down to the performance area just outside city hall on the south bank of the River Thames in the shadow of Tower Bridge. The bandstand and stage hosts a range of events throughout the year from dance and theatre to performance art. In the summer every day ’The Scoop’ festival provides lunchtime and evening live music events for free to the passing tourists and workers.
