Mountsfield Park is one of the largest public parks in Catford and has for generations offered a place of rest and relaxation for the people of the suburb. A popular place for organised sporting events the park has several seasonal sports pitches. However most of the time the park is used as a place to escape the busy London streets of the area and relax in a more pastoral scene surrounded by trees, water and plant life.
