This museum is home to one of the finest collections of historic musical instruments that can be found anywhere on the planet. The collection is made up of over eight hundred instruments and accessories that date from around the middle of the 15th Century to the modern day. Many of the instruments on show were gifts to the institution, collected from across the world, and there is an extensive pan-Asian and African collection on display.
