The National Theatre Archive is one of the largest and most interesting collections of its type anywhere in the country, and is much larger than most standard archives at a theatre. The pieces that have been kept represent a long and interesting history in a theatre that has seen hundreds and thousands of productions come and go. Documents and archives, relating to both the creative and administrative aspects of the theatre, have been left behind.
