New Covent Garden Market is known as ‘The Larder of London’. With over 250 stalls employing 2,500 people the market is by far the largest of it’s type in the United Kingdom. The facility stocks a massive range of fresh produce from fruit and vegetables, fresh fish, crabs, flowers, plants, chesses, lobsters, ice cream and other delicacies. Mainly wholesalers stocking their shops use the market although private sales are permitted to general members of the public.
