This monument is located by the River Thames at the edge of the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich. The interesting obelisk is dedicated to all those brave New Zealand Officers who served on the seas throughout the history of the British Army. A great seafaring nation and part of the Empire, New Zealand have provided a great deal of military support to the British army throughout the ages and this monument honours those who died in battle.
