Osbert Sitwell enjoyed the peace and tranquillity offered by this famous old squared garden in the centre of Chelsea. Just yards away from the King’s Road, Sitwell wrote many of his most famous works in and around this home. Sitweell was one of the most celebrated authors of his generation and is treasured by the literary historians of today. Sitwell was also very much part of the early twentieth centuries ‘London Set’ mixing in important circles.
