This charitable trust was opened in 1959, and holds a collection today of over four thousand works of art by modern British and contemporary artists. It brings together a fine collection of paintings that have been donated to the NHS or have been acquired by the service, and are on display, or have been on display in hospitals, surgeries or health centres across the country. The headquarters has a searchable database and a fine collection of its own.
