Camile Pissarro was a French Impressionist painter of some note. He is important not just because of his amazing talent with a pant brush but because of the influence he had on the Post-Impressionist movement that was lead by his friend and colleague Cezanne. Pissaro lived and worked in this house on top of the hill overlooking Norwood Park for a short period at the height of his artistic career.
