Opened in 1830 Prices Candle Factory once took up much of the banks of the Thames between Wandsworth Bridge and the centre of Battersea. Barges would collect the candles from the factory and deliver them to the London Docks where they would be transported across the world. Today the factory is much smaller, but the charming showroom gives you a taste of how the candle industry once existed before the age of electricity.
