This cemetery is one of the largest in London. Situated on the edge of the city this large cemetery is a place of extreme beauty and historical interest. The cemetery is situated between Wimbledon Common and Kingston Park on a breathtaking forty-seven acre site. Built in 1891 the cemetery houses the graves of some of Britain’s most celebrated actors, singers, musicians, sportsmen and politicians, including the likes of Hattie Jaques, James Stewart and Tony Hancock.
