Queen Mary Gardens are probably the best known and most beautiful of all the separate parts of Regent's Park. Created in 1930, the gardens are beautifully landscaped in several circular walks that lead the visitor not only through a rainbow of coloured flowers but a labyrinth of fascinating smells. The gardens are a popular spot for writers, artists and poets to be seen relaxing in the summer sun, satisfying their muse amongst the tourists and locals alike.
