I have to say I spent hours admiring 'The Virgin and Child with the Infant St John' by Michelangelo. Th complexity of the subject and the deftness of its execution is superb. This academy is wonderful to look in and see fine art like this on display but also at its rawest, sharpest and most jaggedness. Art is subjective but at the Royal Academy I found lots to my taste, I expect you will too.
