Sir Christopher Wren, the same legendary architect who constructed St. Paul’s Cathedral, designed the Royal Chelsea Hospital. This magnificent building has an illustrious history closely associated with the military. The hospital is home to the Chelsea Pensioners, a group of retired soldiers who are famous for wearing their distinctive red military uniforms whilst about the hospital and London. It is full of magnificent architecture and art.
