This fine old church is a great example of an early Salvation Army building. Although the church started as a movement in east London, quickly its influence spread across the capital, the country and the world. This church serves not only as a place of worship but as a place for the poor and the needy to come in times of crisis and ask for help, the very essence of the Salvation Army’s ethos.
