This community of Salvation Army worshippers has existed in south London for many decades. The congregation serves a dual role, as a place for people to practice their faith within the confines of a community church, but also as somewhere for the needy to receive help. The Salvation Army, still today, practices the principals of their founding father William Booth who hoped to ease the suffering of those in need across the country.
