Founded in 1970 by the Arts Council of Great Britain the Serpentine Gallery is housed in a 1903 teahouse on the edge of one of London’s most beautiful parks. The gallery attracts over 600,000 visitors a year and is one of London’s most popular venues for viewing contemporary art, sculpture and artistic installations. The gallery has a regular turnover of exhibitions and attracts some of the biggest names in the modern art world. Entrance to the gallery is free.
