This interesting artistic monument is one of the centrepieces of the High Street in Sutton town centre on the border between Surrey and Greater London. The intertwined metal bands make up a sphere that is meant to represent the planet and the small but important part that the people of Sutton play within it. The monument was presented to the town by the local rotary club on the occasion of the Millennium celebrations.
