This fine old house situated at the heart of Westminster was the home of the legendary First World War poet Siegfried Sassoon for several years of his life. Sassoon along with Wilfred Owen and many other brave poets from the Great War are famed for putting into words in such eloquent style the indescribable conditions and emotions that young men were subjected to between 1914 and 1918.
