Sir Giles Gilbert Scott lived the majority of his life in London. He designed and built Chesterton House close to Paddington Station in central London. Scott is recognised as one of the foremost architects of the 20th Century having been responsible for iconic buildings such as Liverpool Cathedral and Battersea Power Station. Scott continued to work on projects across the world until his death in 1960.
