Southwark Park is a large and beautiful public park on the edge of Rotherhithe in south east London. The marvellous facility has been set aside by the local authority for many generations as a place where local people can lose themselves in a pastoral environment, untroubled by the busy and often noisy streets of the capital. The park has many mature trees and hedges that protect it from the outside world. It is used for many purposes of leisure and recreation.
