Southwark Town Hall is one of the most impressive municipal buildings in the London Borough of Southwark which encompasses much of south-east London. The building is a classic example of late 19th Century 'public' architecture and houses the administrative centre of the local authority. The centre also houses a great deal of local information facilities and hosts many exhibitions and travelling shows throughout the year in the foyer facility.
