Spelthorne Museum spent the first twenty-five years of its life housed in the old fire station, and in 2006 finally found a new home specifically designed for the collection attached to the main library in the heart of the community. The museum is divided into two rooms with different collections. The Elmsleigh Room covers the history of Spelthorne and its people, and the Thames Room has a Victorian layout kitchen, replica Roman shop and fire engine museum collection.
