This church is located within the grounds of the famous St Bart’s hospital, which is the oldest hospital in London. The building was originally built elsewhere and was moved to the site in 1184. Famous names associated with the church include Inigo Jones, who was christened at St Bart’s in 1573. The church has been restored and changed a number of times, with contributions from famous architects such as George Dance the Younger and Thomas Hardwick. The church was also restored after the Second World War.
