St Botolph without Aldersgate was built in the 18th Century, and is built out of red brick. This simply designed church has a garden that is known as Postman’s Park, due to the Post Office occupying a large site nearby until recently. The garden has memorials to various individuals who gave their lives trying to save other people. The church is also known for its stained glass window, which is one of the only examples to survive the Second World War.
