St. John the Evangelist is a beautiful church situated in the Angell Town district of Brixton in south London and serves as the parish church for the mainly residential areas that surround it. The church was constructed in 1852 under the architect Benjamin Ferrey and has been added to and developed on several occasions since that. The facility is home to a large and loyal Christian congregation who meet there regularly.
