St. John the Evangelist Church is one of the oldest and most interesting in Penge. It is one of the principle places of worship for the south London suburb and has always been noted for its beautiful interior and exterior architectural features as well as selection of fine stained glass windows. The church is home to a large parish congregation who meet at the facility on a regular basis to worship.
