This church is admired for its impressive steeple, which is topped by a large octagonal lantern. Until modern buildings dwarfed the tower it was regarded as one of the most noteworthy sights to be seen from the river. The churchyard contains some of the parts of the original London Bridge, which stood very close to the church until it was moved in the 19th Century. The church is also noted for its excellent interior, which is covered in white and gold.
