The St Martin’s Crypt is part of St Martin-in-the-Fields church, and contains both the London Brass Rubbing Centre and the Café-in-the-Crypt. The Brass Rubbing Centre allows visitors to learn about the craft of brass rubbing. All the materials are provided and rubbings can be made of various historical figures. There is also a free exhibition of the best rubbings over the years. The adjacent café is well known for its excellent food, and in particular its traditional afternoon teas.
