St. Mary the Virgin Church is one of the oldest and best recognised churches at the centre of the south London suburb of Lewisham. The structure was first designed in the mid 19th Century and since its construction has acted as one of the principle places of worship for the people of the suburb. The church is home to a large and welcoming Christian congregation who pride themselves as being at the forefront t of the affairs of the area.
