This particular building was designed in 1716 by John James, a close associate of the world famous architect Sir Christopher Wren. The building is the last of many churches that have stood on this site for well over a thousand years. The facility acts as the primary place of worship for the large Christian community in the historic village of Rotherhithe in the heart of London.
