One of London’s strangest churches, St. Matthews really has something for everyone. Despite being a fully functional Anglican church, the building also plays host to some of London’s hippest nightclub events such as ‘Mass’. The venue also plays host to the ‘Bug Bar’. The Church was built in the 1820s and is one of the striking landmarks on Brixton’s skyline. If you want to worship, or try an alternative night out the church is easily assessable from central Brixton.
