This church is one of the finest examples of English Italinate Baroque in the whole of the capital. Constructed in the early 1700s and designed by the legendary architect Sir Thomas Archer the church is without a doubt a spectacular sight both externally and internally. The facility is surrounded by beautiful gardens which provide a place of rest from the busy inner streets of Deptford in south east London.
