This interesting architectural structure was built in 1870 and has since been given grade II listed status because of its fine internal and external features. The church is home to a large congregation of Christians which is drawn from the ethnically diverse population of Streatham in south west London. The members of the church like to take a leading role in the affairs of charity and social outreach in the borough.
