St. Philip and St. James Church is situated in the Herne Hill area of Camberwell. It is one of the principle Roman Catholic places of worship for the people of the suburb and has a large congregation that is as diverse as the makeup of the area. Members meet at the facility on a regular basis to partake in prayer and worship. There is also a strong social and charitable instinct amongst the congregation who work closely with the local community.
